    WAIT — Fibre First

    Raw salad, cooked sabzi, greens, or soup (min 150g)

    Fibre coats the intestinal lining, increases GLP-1 secretion, and physically delays gastric emptying — blunting the glucose curve. *"This is why your thali should never start with roti.

  • Step 2

    WEIGHT — Protein Second

    Dal, paneer, curd/raita, egg, chicken, fish (target 15–20g per meal)

    Triggers satiety hormones (GLP-1, PYY), supports muscle preservation, and acts as the metabolic anchor of the plate.

    WHEAT — Complex Carbs Last

    Roti (whole wheat/millet), rice (brown/hand-pounded)
